Shimanto Unagi Sales Co., Ltd. specializes in the sale of domestic unagi and its processed products from Kochi Prefecture.

The Shimanto River, known as “Japan’s Last Clear Stream,” is a beautiful river surrounded by rich nature.
It is known for its very good water quality with minimal impact from household sewage and large-scale dams.

Unagi is a very delicate fish.
Clean water contributes to its exquisite flavor.

It is referred to as “Super Soft Water” and the water in the Shimanto River basin is ultra-soft with low mineral content.

Ultra-soft water and unagi from Shimanto River, Japan’s last clear stream! It is worth it.

I always order the half shirayaki and kabayaki (600B each).
Pairing it with the promotional wine (red or white 90B++) is the best value!
I usually drink about three glasses.
And you absolutely must try the “Shimanto Unagi Black Curry (380B++)”.

This special curry is packed with unagi essence and the spices are wonderful.
Once you try it, you’ll surely rave about it. It’s a highly recommended menu for curry lovers. Even though it feels a bit unfair to only have this much, I can’t help but keep coming back for it because it’s so delicious!
